Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patients throughout dialysis sessions, checking vital signs and responding to complications.
- Administer prescribed dialysis treatment under supervision of medical staff.
- Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of equipment and treatment areas.
- Record patient information, treatment details, and machine readings accurately.
- Educate patients on dialysis procedures, care routines, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Assist in emergency situations and follow established safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Dialysis Technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment handling, and infection control practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical instructions precisely.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support patients empathetically.
- Basic computer skills for patient record management.
