Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Thuritham restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, food safety, profitability, and employee engagement. The role requires strong leadership to maintain brand standards while delivering a fast, hygienic, and memorable dining experience. These responsibilities align with standard restaurant management practices across hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Restaurant Operations
- Manage daily restaurant operations during all shifts.
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service counter, and dining area.
- Maintain speed of service as per company standards.
- Ensure restaurant opens and closes on time.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings.
2. Customer Experience
- Deliver outstanding guest service.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Ensure cleanliness and pleasant ambience throughout operating hours.
3. Team Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant employees.
- Prepare duty rosters and manpower schedules.
- Monitor attendance, grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
- Conduct performance reviews and recommend rewards or corrective actions.
4. Food Quality & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food presentation, taste, freshness, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and sanitation procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen to minimize food wastage.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
- Conduct daily and monthly inventory verification.
- Control food cost, wastage, and pilferage.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase for timely replenishment.
6. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Increase average bill value and customer footfall.
- Execute local marketing initiatives.
- Promote seasonal offers and new products.
7. Cash & Financial Management
- Ensure accurate billing and cash handling.
- Verify daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.
- Monitor discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary bills.
- Control operating expenses to improve profitability.
8. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations and company policies.
- Maintain statutory records and operational checklists.
- Ensure workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
9. Administration
- Maintain restaurant assets and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance activities.
- Submit daily operational MIS reports.
- Ensure availability of uniforms, housekeeping materials, and packaging supplies.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
