Job Title: Business Head – Logistics (South Zone)

Role Summary
The Business Head – Logistics (South Zone) will be responsible for driving sales of logistics and transportation services while ensuring strong coordination with operations for efficient service delivery. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding the customer base, and maintaining high service standards across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of logistics and transportation services across the South Zone.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, and closures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
2. Operations Coordination
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of services.
- Align customer requirements with operational capabilities and timelines.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure commitments are met.
- Address operational issues in coordination with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized logistics solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
4. Planning & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Track key performance indicators and present updates to management.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–15 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record in sales and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and service delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
