Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to achieve production targets while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation to meet production demands.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or procedures as necessary to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and promote professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues impacting production.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports on performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management review.
- Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
