Key Responsibilities
- Lead the school's academic strategy, annual planning, and implementation
- Review and monitor curriculum, learning standards, and academic programs
- Drive teacher training, professional development, classroom observations, and coaching
- Monitor student academic performance, assessments, results, and learning outcomes
- Lead academic reviews, leadership meetings, and professional development meetings
- Develop and mentor academic heads, coordinators, and teachers
- Promote a strong culture of academic excellence and professional accountability
- Handle high-level teacher, student, and academic escalations
- Support teacher recruitment, selection, and academic staffing
- Review student admissions from an academic perspective
- Coordinate with external organizations for teacher development and academic initiatives
- Monitor education board documentation and academic compliance
- Work closely with senior leadership and academic teams on school-wide improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Education, a relevant subject, or related field
- B.Ed / M.Ed preferred
- Significant experience in school education and academic leadership
- Experience as Head of Academics, Academic Head, Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, or Academic Coordinator
- Strong experience in curriculum planning, teacher development, assessment, and academic management
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team-management skills
Mandatory Requirements
- Fluency in Marathi is mandatory
- Strong English communication skills
- Willingness to work full-time at the school in Thane
- Candidates from Thane or nearby areas preferred
Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
