Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and defining the overall cloud security framework and architecture to align with organizational goals. This role requires careful planning to ensure that security measures meet business requirements and performance standards. The position also includes documenting the deployment of cloud security controls and overseeing the smooth transition of these controls into cloud security-managed operations. Collaboration with various teams to maintain a secure cloud environment and continuous evaluation of security strategies are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of security policies and procedures within the cloud environment.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure security objectives are clearly understood and met.
- Monitor emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
- Good To Have Skills: Security Architecture Design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing security frameworks for cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards relevant to cloud security.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
