Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and support complete network infrastructure for SME and enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in routing and switching, network security, wireless networking, VPN, firewalls, structured cabling, network monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Deployment
- Design and implement LAN/WAN architectures, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and IP addressing/subnetting.
- Configure and deploy routers, Layer 2/Layer 3 switches, and wireless access points.
- Plan and execute structured cabling, rack layouts, and network documentation.
- Design and implement site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions.
- Prepare and maintain network diagrams and as-built documentation.
Network Security
- Configure and manage firewalls such as Fortinet FortiGate, Sophos, Sangfor, and Barracuda.
- Manage NAT, firewall policies, IPS/IDS, access control, and network segmentation.
- Implement ACLs, 802.1X, NAC, SSL VPN, IPsec, and secure remote access.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and firmware updates.
- Harden network devices against security threats.
Wireless & Switching
- Deploy and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi and switching solutions.
- Configure VLAN trunking, STP/RSTP, link aggregation, and QoS.
- Work with networking equipment from Cisco, Ruijie, D-Link, and DrayTek.
- Install and maintain IP-PBX and unified communication systems.
Monitoring & Technical Support
- Monitor network performance and uptime using tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or Meraki Dashboard.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Internet connectivity, latency, and throughput issues.
- Manage ISP and leased-line coordination.
- Configure dual-WAN, failover, load balancing, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Maintain IP registers, network documentation, and change-management records.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, subnetting, and VLSM.
- Hands-on firewall administration experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Sangfor, or Barracuda.
- Practical knowledge of DrayTek routers, VPN technologies, and QoS.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards including Cat6/Cat6a and fiber optics.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of cloud connectivity and VPN integration with Azure/Google Workspace is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-handling skills.

- Fortinet NSE 4+
- Sophos Certified Architect
- Sangfor Certified Engineer
- CompTIA Network+ / Security+
- Ruijie / DrayTek Certification – Added Advantage
