Serenya Circle is a new but high-impact production house that creates cinematic podcasts. We run two flagship properties: The Second Act, a long-form business talk show featuring founders, operators and investors, and Midlife Theory, a platform built around women navigating midlife. We are small, ambitious and moving fast, which means everyone who joins us gets responsibility early and visibility with leadership from day one.
About the Role
We are looking for a Management Trainee in Partnerships who will sit at the front end of our business development engine. You will build and manage our prospect universe, open conversations with potential clients and sponsors, and set up decision-makers for meetings with our business head and founders. This is a role for someone who wants to learn how partnerships and revenue actually work inside a media business, not from a textbook but by doing it every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Build prospect databases by sourcing customer and client details using LinkedIn, Apollo and other prospecting tools
- Segment clients and prospects into clear categories based on industry, size, relevance and potential
- Reach out to prospects through email, LinkedIn and calls, and run disciplined follow-up cycles until conversations move forward
- Lock in meetings between qualified prospects and the business head and founders
- Maintain and manage client lists so that the pipeline is always current, clean and actionable
- Attend client meetings and prepare accurate minutes of meeting (MOMs), capturing decisions, commitments and next steps
- Track follow-through on action items after every meeting
Skills and Attributes We Are Looking For
- Excellent spoken English, with the confidence to hold a conversation with senior executives
- Strong orientation toward timelines and deadlines; you close loops without being chased
- Sharp written communication, since first impressions with prospects are often made over email and LinkedIn
- Comfort with CRM discipline and data hygiene; lists that are 90 percent accurate are lists that fail
- A thick skin and persistence; partnerships work means hearing no often before you hear yes
