AI/ML Programmer (NLP Specialist)

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for healthcare applications.
Build and optimize NLP pipelines for text extraction, classification, summarization, and information retrieval.
Develop AI-powered solutions using modern NLP frameworks and transformer models.
Work with structured and unstructured healthcare datasets to improve model accuracy.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and domain experts to deliver scalable AI solutions.
Evaluate model performance and continuously optimize for production deployment.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, NLP, and Machine Learning.
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in AI/ML and NLP development.
Strong hands-on experience with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, model optimization).
Experience building Natural Language Processing (NLP) pipelines.
Proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
Good understanding of text preprocessing, embeddings, tokenization, vector databases, and retrieval techniques.
Experience working with APIs, model deployment, and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with healthcare or medical datasets.
Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical text, EMR/EHR data, or healthcare NLP is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LangChain / LlamaIndex, and vector databases is a plus.
