Accountant will co-ordinate, support to Branch Head - Accounts in managing and administration of the accounts department, procedures, programs and help co-ordinate the day-to-day accounting process of branch. The incumbent, under the directions and limited supervision of Branch Head, has the ongoing accountability to develop best in class people practices for the continuous improvement and development of Chemmanur Group.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Key Result Areas - KRA)
- Maintenance & Finalization of Books of Accounts
- Coordination with the entire department inside the group related to accounting process.
- Ensure the compliance of statutory fillings
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of latest Income Tax, GST and GAAP.
- Excellent Employee focus, Effective communication, interpersonal, managerial skill.
- Superior organizational ability, with expert knowledge and experience .
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Tally understanding of technology to guide implementation.
- Knowledge of statutory framework.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bcom from a reputed university
· Minimum 1 year hands on experience in accounts and audit
