1. About the Role
EduSolve Learn is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging video presentations that align with our brand and educational content goals.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging video presentations
- Add visual effects, transitions, motion graphics, and sound design to enhance video content
- Trim, sequence, and assemble raw footage into a cohesive final video
- Add subtitles, captions, text overlays, and graphics as required
- Color correct and color grade videos for a professional, consistent look
- Sync audio with video and enhance overall sound quality
- Add background music, voiceovers, and sound effects appropriately
- Optimize and export videos in formats suitable for various platforms (YouTube, social media, LMS, etc.)
- Organize and manage raw video files, project files, and final exports systematically
- Collaborate with the content and design team to understand project requirements and deliverables
- Ensure all videos are completed and delivered within given timelines
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques
- Work collaboratively as part of the team to deliver projects on time
- Interact and coordinate with other teams to align on content and delivery requirements
3. Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing or a related field
- Hands-on proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and storytelling
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
- Good eye for detail, color, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines
- Good time-management and organizational skills
