Banyan Paradise Resort is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Event Sales & Venue Manager to join our thriving hospitality team in Vadodara. As the city's wedding and event destination, our expansive property features multiple luxury indoor banquet halls (Aster, Jasmine, Irish, Gulmohar), premium outdoor party plots (Rudra Lawn capable of hosting up to 2,000+ guests), a stunning poolside lawn, and 70+ luxury rooms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for showcasing our multi-space event infrastructure, converting wedding and corporate inquiries into bookings, and maximizing revenue for both events and guest room blocks.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Driving
- Convert Inquiries to Bookings: Actively respond to inbound leads from direct inquiries, digital channels, and wedding aggregation platforms.
- Property Tours & Consulting: Conduct engaging, professional site inspections of our banquet halls, lawns, and luxury suites to help couples visualize their dream Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, or grand reception.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Draft custom event proposals, curate packages matching the client’s scale, negotiate corporate/social terms, and close legal agreements.
Skills & QualificationsExperience & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven sales experience specifically in wedding planning, banquet sales, or event management within a resort or upscale hotel.
- High-Impact Communication: Polite, persuasive, and empathetic communication skills required to manage family expectations during wedding planning.
- Organizational Skills: Comfortable multitasking and running multiple large-scale corporate and wedding files simultaneously.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or event-booking software.
- Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Vadodara/Gujarat event market, regional wedding traditions, and active relationships with local wedding planners and event vendors.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
