An accounting officer is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting financial operations within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and financial transactions to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustments and accruals.
- Support payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate financial activities and support business operations.
- Provide assistance to auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies during audits.
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, procedures, and internal controls, recommending improvements as needed.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
