Financial Analyst / Data Analyst – Pharmacy Operations
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst / Data Analyst to support pharmacy operations through financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with pharmacy leadership, finance, and clinical operations teams to evaluate prescription trends, reimbursement performance, inventory costs, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capability, sound business judgment, and knowledge of healthcare or pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse pharmacy revenue, expenses, margins, and reimbursement trends.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Monitor drug acquisition costs, payer reimbursements, and profitability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
- Collect, clean, and analyse pharmacy operational data from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards and automated reports using business intelligence tools.
- Track and monitor KPIs, including prescription volume, turnaround time, inventory turnover, and denial rates.
- Interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or business reporting.
- Strong command of Excel and reporting/BI tools.
- Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, or operational data preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Proficiency in dashboard development and data visualisation.
- Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement processes and inventory management.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and reporting standards.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
