Science Teacher (6th to 12th Grade – CBSE / ICSE / IB / IGCSE) – Part Time Job Summary EDUVERSE GLOBAL ACADEMY is looking for a highly knowledgeable and passionate Science Teacher to handle students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 across CBSE, ICSE, IB, and IGCSE curricula. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual understanding, excellent teaching methodology, and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for students of different academic levels. Job Location Candidates should reside within approximately 5 to 8 km radius of the academy location - Gandhi nagar 1st main road, Adyar. Subjects to Handle Depending on expertise and grade level: - Physics - Chemistry - Biology - General Science Curriculum Requirements Candidates with experience in any of the following curricula will be preferred: - CBSE - ICSE - IB (International Baccalaureate) - IGCSE / Cambridge Curriculum Roles & Responsibilities - Conduct Science classes for Grade 6 to Grade 12 students. - Teach concepts clearly with strong focus on conceptual understanding and application-based learning. - Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, assessments, and revision materials. - Provide curriculum-oriented coaching for school examinations and competitive foundations. - Conduct practical explanations, demonstrations, and activity-based learning where required. - Monitor student progress and provide individual academic support. - Help students improve analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. - Maintain classroom discipline and professional teaching standards. - Coordinate with academy management regarding batch schedules and academic planning. Candidate Requirements - Minimum 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in Science subjects. - Strong subject expertise in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science. - Experience handling CBSE, ICSE, IB, or IGCSE curriculum is preferred. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. - Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and engaging manner. - Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Science or relevant field. - B.Ed. qualification is an added advantage. - Experience in handling international curriculum students will be preferred.
