Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in the Refractory, Ceramic, Chemical, or High-Temperature Industry.
Educational Qualification: Preferably B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry), Ceramic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science Graduate, or Diploma in Ceramic/Civil Engineering. However, educational qualification is not a limiting factor for the right candidate.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business growth in the refractory and ceramic materials segment across India. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, strengthening relationships with refractory manufacturers and end-user industries, and achieving sales and collection targets. The candidate should possess strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities-
Sales & Business Development:
i. Market and sell refractory and ceramic raw materials such as Alumina, Silica, Magnesia, Zircon, Mullite, and other virgin and recycled/secondary materials.
ii. Generate new business opportunities through customer acquisition and market development initiatives.
iii. Deepen relationships with existing customers to increase revenue and market share.
iv. Develop and maintain strong networks with decision-makers, technical teams, procurement departments, traders, and distributors.
v. Gather market information/market intelligence by networking with various stakeholders.
Customer & Industry Engagement:
i. Coordinate with customers from industries such as refractory/ceremic industry, steel plants, mini steel plants, DRI and pellet plants, cement plants, boilers, incinerators, and other high-temperature process industries.
ii. Regularly visit refractory manufacturers, processors, and to identify opportunities and strengthen business relationships.
iii. Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
Travel & Market Coverage:
i. Manage Pan-India sales activities and customer engagement.
ii. Travel extensively across India (30–50% or more as required) for business development, customer meetings, order follow-ups, and market expansion, payment collection.
Required Skills:
i. Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
ii. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), Hindi and Bengali.
iii. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
iv. Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and market analyses.
v. Knowledge of EXIM (Export-Import) processes will be an added advantage.
vi. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
