The Payroll and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and HR policies, while also driving process improvements and maintaining internal controls.
Key Responsibilities: -
Payroll Management
Supervise and execute monthly payroll processing for all employees.
Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and benefits.
Manage payroll software and liaise with finance/HR teams for seamless integration.
Compliance Oversight
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Income Tax, etc.).
File and maintain compliance reports, returns, and documentation.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and implement necessary adjustments.
Audit & Reporting
Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Process Improvement
Streamline payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Implement automation and digital tools for compliance tracking.
Train HR staff on payroll and compliance best practices.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
