Job Summary
Step Up School is seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach Classes XI & XII (CBSE). The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to Classes XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct Chemistry practicals while ensuring laboratory safety standards.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Foster scientific thinking, analytical skills, and curiosity among students.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
