Special Educator – Principal | Sakya NIOS School
Role Overview:
Lead the academic and administrative operations of Sakya NIOS School, ensuring quality education and holistic development for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee NIOS curriculum implementation and academic planning.
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Lead, mentor, and support special educators and school staff.
- Coordinate with parents, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with NIOS guidelines and maintain school records.
- Support student admissions, assessments, and examination processes.
- Promote life skills, vocational training, and inclusive education practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
- B.Ed. (Special Education) preferred.
- RCI Registration preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in special education, with leadership experience preferred.
