We are looking for a dedicated Stores Professional who can contribute to our growing operations by effectively managing inventory, material flow, stock control, and warehouse activities while supporting our continuous improvement culture.
Job Description
Position: Materials & Inventory Controller
Department: Stores & Logistics
Reporting To: Management Representative / Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, identification, and issue of raw materials, consumables, bought-out items, and finished goods.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and physical stock registers.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper material handling, preservation, and storage practices.
- Coordinate material movement between stores, production, quality, and dispatch departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Control non-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Support customer audits, ISO/QMS requirements, and inventory-related documentation.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards within the stores area.
- Assist in dispatch planning and logistics coordination when required.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation wherever applicable.

Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Stores, Inventory, Warehouse, or Materials Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. (Freshers can also Apply)
