About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Python Django Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using Django and Python, with a strong understanding of backend development, REST APIs, and database management. You should be eager to learn new technologies and contribute to innovative software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
- Design and build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of professional experience in Python and Django.
- Strong understanding of Django Framework and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience with REST APIs and API integration.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
- Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server environments is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Docker, AWS, or cloud deployment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
