Role Description
We are inviting applications from dynamic and academically driven professionals for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the area of General Management & Marketing.
The ideal candidate should possess strong academic expertise in General Management along with the ability to teach a blend of Marketing and Management subjects. The role requires a passionate educator committed to academic excellence, student engagement, research, and institutional development.
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Management (MBA/PGDM) with specialization in General Management, Marketing, or related disciplines
- Ph.D. preferred/required as per position and applicable academic norms
- NET/SET/Ph.D. qualifications as per regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
Academic Teaching & Learning
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students across General Management and Marketing subjects
- Deliver engaging, practical, and outcome-oriented classroom sessions
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, case studies, presentations, and assessment material
- Integrate industry insights, business cases, and experiential learning methodologies into teaching
Student Mentorship & Academic Support
- Guide students in projects, internships, research work, presentations, and academic activities
- Mentor students for career development, professional growth, and industry readiness
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and managerial decision-making skills
Research & Academic Contribution
- Participate in curriculum design and academic development initiatives
- Contribute to seminars, conferences, workshops, FDPs, and institutional events
- Support research activities, publications, accreditation processes, and institutional development initiatives
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain academic records, attendance, assessments, and documentation
- Ensure academic discipline, quality standards, and effective classroom management
- Collaborate with faculty members and academic teams for departmental growth
Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge in General Management and Marketing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and mentor students effectively
- Strong academic orientation with practical business understanding
- Teamwork, coordination, professionalism, and organizational skills
Experience Requirements
- Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions preferred
- Industry exposure and research experience will be an added advantage
- Publications, research work, and academic contributions preferred for Associate Professor and Professor positions
