The Production Engineer/Supervisor is responsible for directing shop floor operations and managing shift-wise production output. This role focuses on the practical execution of assembly, fabrication, and machining processes while ensuring optimal manpower handling and maintaining rigorous production schedules.
Shift Supervision: Directing and supervising daily shift production to ensure continuous and efficient output.
Production Planning: Managing the shift production plan for Assembly and Fabrication areas.
Manpower Handling: Efficiently allocating and managing workforce across the production line to meet targets.
Process Oversight: Supervising activities within the Machine Shop, Galvanising, and Forging departments.
Output Monitoring: Ensuring production output aligns strictly with the established schedules.
Shift Maintenance: Maintaining discipline and manpower productivity during the assigned shift.
Reporting: Preparing and maintaining daily MIS Reports regarding production performance and shift activities.
Quality Adherence: Ensuring that shift output meets the required technical specifications and quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and the correct use of equipment on the shop floor.
Core experience in Assembly and Fabrication processes within an industrial environment.
Familiarity with Machine Shop, Galvanising, and Forging shop floor operations.
Proven ability to manage shift production plans and handle large teams of technicians/workers.
Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and basic ERP system operations.
Excellent leadership and 'Manpower Handling' capabilities.
Strong organizational skills for tracking production schedules and preparing MIS reports.
Ability to work effectively under shift-based timelines and meet daily targets.
