Role & Objective:-
The Membrane Shop role is responsible for the efficient assembly, fabrication, testing, and servicing of membrane filter systems used in water and industrial filtration applications. The position ensures that membrane products are manufactured and serviced as per quality standards, safety norms, and production schedules. The role supports smooth shop-floor operations, minimizes downtime, and contributes to continuous improvement in membrane production and service activities.
Job Competencies :-
- Knowledge of membrane filter assembly and installation processes
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and SOPs
- Basic welding, fabrication, and fitting skills
- Safe handling of tools, machines, and testing equipment
- Strong focus on quality control and inspection standards
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Awareness of shop-floor safety practices and PPE usage
- Discipline in following production schedules and work instructions
- Effective teamwork and coordination with supervisors and service teams
- Proper documentation and reporting of daily work activities
