Job description
The postdoctoral fellow will work in one or more of the following research areas:
Process Control Design and Optimization • Autonomous Systems Control (UAV and Robotics)
Intelligent Control Techniques
Artificial Intelligence in Automation
Data-driven and Learning-based Control
Networked and Cyber-Physical Control Systems
Essential and Desirable Skills
Strong theoretical and practical background in classical and modern control systems, including system modelling, stability analysis, controller design, and performance evaluation for linear and non-linear systems.
Strong publication record or demonstrated potential to publish in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals in control engineering, automation, or related domains.
Proven research experience in process control, autonomous systems, or intelligent control, with exposure to real-world industrial or cyber-physical applications.
Excellent proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/ROS for control system modelling, simulation, algorithm development, and performance validation.
Demonstrated experience in simulation-based research, including controller validation under uncertainties such as delays, disturbances, noise, and parameter variations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-intensive academic environment, meeting project milestones and publication targets.
Prior experience in research proposal preparation, technical reporting, and project coordination, particularly for externally funded or collaborative research projects.
