Task as a Gym/Personal
1. Member Assistance and Supervision:
Safety First: Their primary responsibility is to ensure members are using equipment correctly and safely to prevent injuries. This includes spotting members during heavy lifts, demonstrating proper form, and ensuring the gym floor is free of hazards.
Answering Questions: They are the go-to person for members with questions about exercises, equipment, and general fitness. They should be knowledgeable and able to provide clear, concise answers.
Providing Guidance: They offer guidance and encouragement to members, helping them set and achieve their fitness goals. This can range from suggesting a new workout routine to offering tips on how to improve their form.
Customer Service: A good gym floor trainer is friendly, approachable, and proactive. They should greet members, create a welcoming atmosphere, and be attentive to the needs of those on the gym floor.
2. Equipment Management and Maintenance:
Maintaining Order: They are responsible for keeping the gym floor organized and tidy. This includes racking weights, returning equipment to its designated place, and wiping down machines after use.
Basic Maintenance: They may perform basic checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order. If they notice any faulty or broken equipment, they should report it to management for repair.
Demonstrating Usage: They should be proficient in using all the gym equipment and be able to demonstrate its proper use to new or unfamiliar members.
