Principal Tasks & Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Business Development Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Identify growth opportunities across regions, new products, and key accounts. Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design effective promotional strategies. 2. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, mentor, and motivate National and Area Sales Managers, ensuring high team performance. Define performance metrics, KPIs, and incentives for regional sales teams. Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and development programs. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across teams to drive consistency. 3. Sales Operations & Execution Oversee territory planning, sales forecasting, and target allocation for regional teams. Ensure effective execution of new product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives. Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective measures where necessary. Ensure key accounts are managed effectively, building strong, long-term relationships. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans. Participate in pricing strategies, budgeting, and resource allocation for the sales function. Support national-level projects and initiatives led by senior management. 5. Compliance & Reporting Ensure all sales activities comply with company SOPs, pharma marketing ethics, and regulatory guidelines. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management. Maintain accurate and timely CRM data, sales reports, and forecast submissions.
