About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer (Intern) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our jewelry concepts to life by creating detailed 2D and 3D designs for both men’s and women’s jewelry collections.
This is a highly flexible position ideal for someone with decent prior experience who wants to work on beautiful designs in a versatile working environment. You will frequently work directly from photo references to recreate, modify, or inspire new, high-quality jewelry pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Detailed Designs: Draft and design beautiful, technically accurate jewelry pieces for men and women using CorelDRAW and other relevant CAD software.
- Work from References: Accurately translate photo references, sketches, and mood boards into precise 2D vectors and 3D models ready for production.
- Iterative Design: Modify and refine designs based on feedback to ensure technical viability and aesthetic appeal.
- File Management: Maintain organized design files and ensure that all technical specifications for manufacturing are clearly communicated.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Decent prior experience in jewelry design or CAD modeling is required. You should have a portfolio showcasing your past work.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in CorelDRAW is strictly required. Familiarity with other 3D CAD software (like Rhino, Matrix, or ZBrush) is a strong plus.
- Jewelry Knowledge: A good understanding of jewelry proportions, structural integrity, and aesthetics for both men's and women's categories.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to capture intricate details from photo references and translate them perfectly into digital designs.
- Self-Driven: Since the work is highly flexible, strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
