About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house design team. You do NOT need to be an expert — we are looking for someone who has a working knowledge of CorelDRAW, understands design tools and layouts, and is eager to learn and grow. Your main responsibility will be to take designs provided to you and accurately resize, reformat, and arrange them across different print and digital dimensions as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with CorelDRAW to open, edit, and arrange given design files
- Resize and reformat designs for different output sizes and ratios (e.g. A4, A3, visiting card, flex banner, social media posts, hoardings)
- Rearrange design elements — text, logos, images — to fit various canvas sizes without distorting quality
- Maintain proper bleed, margin, and safe zone settings as per print or digital requirements
- Export and save files in required formats (PDF, JPEG, PNG, CDR) for print or digital use
- Follow design briefs and guidelines provided by the senior designer or manager
- Organize and manage design files systematically on the computer
- Make minor edits such as text changes, color adjustments, and element repositioning as instructed
- Ensure print-ready file standards are met before sending for production
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10+2 pass; Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design / DTP is preferred
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of CorelDRAW (tools, text, shapes, layers, alignment)
- Ability to understand and work with standard design sizes and aspect ratios
- Awareness of print terminology: bleed, crop marks, CMYK, resolution (DPI/PPI)
- Basic knowledge of color modes (CMYK for print, RGB for digital)
- Ability to follow design instructions and reproduce layouts accurately
- Attention to detail — clean alignment, consistent spacing, and proper file output
- Basic computer skills: file management, Windows OS, folder organization
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Exposure to Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop as an added advantage
- Knowledge of common print formats: visiting cards, letterheads, flex/vinyl banners, brochures
- Basic understanding of digital formats: Instagram posts, Facebook covers, WhatsApp stickers
- Prior internship or freelance design work (even college projects count!)
