Position: Service Engineer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Salary: Approx. ₹46,000/- In-Hand per Month (Negotiable/Depends on Interview & Experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and servicing of packaging automation machinery at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of packaging automation machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
- Attend breakdown calls and provide timely technical support to customers.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Conduct machine testing, calibration, and performance checks.
- Support customers in machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with the technical and production teams for resolving complex issues.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and breakdown reports.
- Travel to customer locations as required for installation and service activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quick and effective technical support.
Required Skills & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in Packaging Machinery / Automation / Industrial Machinery will be preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, drives, pneumatics, and control panels will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdown/service requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience in Packaging Automation, Industrial Automation, Filling & Packing Machines, Conveyor Systems, Coding/Marking Machines, or related machinery will be preferred.
Salary: Approx. ₹46,000/- In-Hand
Final salary will depend on candidate experience, technical skills, and interview performance.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
