Key Responsibilities:
AI-Augmented Development — Personal Delivery
- Deliver production-grade features across the tech stack using AI coding tools as primary development accelerators.
- Use Claude Code for agentic code generation, refactoring, debugging, test writing, and documentation at scale.
- Use GitHub Copilot for inline code completion, PR review assistance, and boilerplate elimination across all supported languages.
- Use Cursor for multi-file editing, codebase-aware AI suggestions, and context-rich code navigation.
- Establish personal best practices and document AI-assisted workflows as reusable team playbooks.
- Build reference implementations and sample projects that showcase AI-augmented development at its best.
Team Training & AI Adoption Program
- Design and deliver a structured AI Tools Adoption Program tailored for each team: .NET, MEAN/MERN, Python, PHP, Moodle, DB, QA, DevOps, and BA.
- Conduct hands-on workshops, pair programming sessions, and live coding demos to embed AI tool usage into daily workflows.
- Create team-specific prompt libraries, AI workflow guides, and coding standards for each technology stack.
- Run regular “AI Productivity Labs” — short, focused sessions solving real sprint tasks using AI tools collaboratively.
- Measure developer productivity improvements pre- and post-training using defined KPIs (PR velocity, defect rate, time-to-review, etc.).
- Identify and mentor internal AI Champions within each team to sustain adoption independently.
Tool Evaluation & Standards
- Evaluate emerging AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, Tabnine, Codeium, Windsurf, etc.) and recommend the best fit for each team context.
- Define AI coding governance: what to use AI for, what to review before committing, and how to validate AI-generated code for security, correctness, and quality.
- Establish code review standards specifically for AI-generated code — covering hallucination risk, over- generation, and IP/license concerns.
- Integrate AI tool workflows into existing CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and code review processes.
- Work with DevOps team to configure and manage GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Claude Code CLI, and related tooling at the organization level.
Cross-Team AI Use Case Development
- .NET Team: AI-assisted API development, test generation, legacy code refactoring, and Copilot Chat for debugging.
- MEAN/MERN Team: AI-driven component generation, API integration, and front-end optimization workflows.
- Python Team: AI-accelerated scripting, automation, data pipeline development, and REST API generation.
- PHP / Moodle Team: AI-assisted plugin development, WordPress customization, and LMS configuration automation.
- Database Team: AI-powered SQL query generation, optimization, stored procedure writing, and schema review.
- QA Team: AI-generated test cases, automated test script creation, API test coverage expansion with Copilot.
- DevOps Team: AI-assisted IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) writing, pipeline configuration, and incident runbook generation.
- BA Team: AI-powered requirements drafting, user story generation, JIRA ticket creation, and documentation automation.
