Job Summary
We are looking for a Material Procurement Executive who can procure materials from local suppliers, follow up with vendors, and coordinate material pickup and delivery for manufacturing and automation projects. The candidate should be willing to travel within Chennai and nearby industrial areas.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Purchase mechanical, electrical, hardware, and industrial materials from suppliers.
- Visit vendor locations for material collection and delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding material availability and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production and stores departments for material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.
- Verify material quantity and quality before collection.
- Maintain purchase bills, invoices, and records.
- Develop relationships with local vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in identifying new suppliers and sourcing materials at competitive prices.
- Ensure materials are delivered to the factory on time.
Required Skills
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of industrial materials and procurement processes.
- Ability to travel frequently for material collection and follow-up activities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, Word).
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma / HSC
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
