The Professional services team within Blue Yonder operates globally and is growing rapidly.

Blue Yonder Sr. Enterprise Technical Architect/Principal Architect (Planning) will be responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.

Acts as a trusted solution advisor to customers, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures while guiding customers through adoption and change
-
Responsible for delivering services related to product implementation and integration, including build and migration activities, with the Cognitive Planning suite of products and heritage BY SCPO (Supply Chain Planning and Optimization)/legacy (jda)

Core responsibilities include end‑to‑end technical architecture and delivery, encompassing design, migration, implementation, testing, and enablement of a ground‑up, cloud‑native SaaS platform built on Microsoft Azure.

The role supports supply chain demand and supply planning solutions for Manufacturing and Retail industry segments, working closely with customers, counterparts, and Distinguished Architects.

The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
What you’ll do:
-
Lead customer assessments and onsite engagements to understand business and technical landscapes and shape end-to-end solution architectures.
-
Lead and mentor technical teams across solution implementation, migration, enhancement, managed services, integrations, and custom projects (onsite/offshore).
-
Own end-to-end delivery including technical planning, execution, and steady-state support.
-
Conduct technical analysis workshops to gather functional and technical requirements and develop tailored solutions.
-
Assess existing Blue Yonder solutions for migration (e.g., Cognitive Planning) and drive technical decision-making.
-
Design and develop workflows, UI components, integration scripts, data models, and perform data mapping and loading.
-
Evaluate integration complexity, system architecture, and non-standard business requirements.
-
Provide technical leadership including QA/design reviews, environment setup, configuration, troubleshooting, system testing, and operations consulting.

Estimate implementation workload and assess scope, feasibility, and complexity.
-
Contribute to technical strategy, customer assessments, and complex sales cycles within Professional Services.
-
Collaborate with global teams, partners, customers, and internal stakeholders across time zones.
-
Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications, configurations, and user guides.
-
Provide internal and external training and enablement.
-
Drive practice development by creating reusable assets, accelerators, best practices, and knowledge repositories. Identify automation opportunities and process improvements to reduce implementation lifecycle and post-go-live issues.

Create reusable artifacts to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
-
Accelerate time-to-value through iterative and agile delivery cycles.
-
Identify and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within ongoing engagements.
-
Continuously upskill on Blue Yonder products, roadmap, and emerging technologies.
-
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
-
Handle complex tasks requiring analysis of data and evaluation of multiple factors.
-
Support flexible working models and travel to customer sites as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 15+ years of experience in Software industry; ideally a candidate who has started as a consultant and has worked his/her way to leading the technical team on 5+ complete end to end implementation cycles.

Preferred someone with understanding of multiple BY/JDA/or equivalent solutions as below and configuration to better facilitate client business processes.

Retail Planning: Demand, Fulfillment, Order Optimization, Merchandize Planning and Allocation
- Manufacturing Planning: Demand, Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP), S&OP, Inventory Optimization (IO)

Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO solution and understanding of Blue Yonder Platform is an added advantage

Experience working with large customers in challenging environments and having design/implemented enterprise application solutions and integration architectures.

Strong software engineering fundamentals, design principles, programming experience and problem-solving skills
-
Technical Background, Supply Chain Planning Industry Experience
-
Possess technical expertise on Oracle, Snowflake, PL/SQL, database, ETL, Platform, Python and Perl scripting.
-
Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on premises)
-
Strong data engineering skills include data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline design, data integration, and handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
-
Expertise performance tuning techniques and ability to assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
-
Good understanding of Web Technologies and API fundamentals
-
Strong understanding of Cloud and Architectural design (Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant)

Hands-on development skills should not have moved away from development activities.

Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
