Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee and optimize the manufacturing processes of cryogenic storage tanks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute production activities for cryogenic storage tanks and related components.
- Monitor fabrication processes such as cutting, rolling, welding, and assembly.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME, PESO, and ISO.
- Prepare and maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with the design and quality teams to ensure accurate execution of drawings.
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Handle manpower planning and supervise shop floor activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Maintain production reports, daily logs, and documentation.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
- Understanding of cryogenic materials and insulation systems (PUF, Perlite, Vacuum Jacketed Systems).
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of pressure vessel manufacturing standards.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
