As an Academic Associate (AA) you will contribute to Education courses in the Undergraduate programme, with a specific focus on English language support and academic mentoring for a diverse student cohort. You will work in close coordination with the faculty.
This is a full-time two-year position.
Responsibilities:
As an Academic Associate in Teacher Education, you will:

Work closely with faculty across two to three undergraduate-level courses per semester, each involving substantial English language components.

Conduct regular English language support sessions for undergraduate students with varied linguistic backgrounds.

Facilitate tutorials for students requiring additional support in English language and comprehension within Education courses.

Prepare teaching and learning materials, design and administer diagnostic assessments, and provide targeted academic support to student projects, including outside scheduled class hours.

Mentor BSc BEd students, offering guidance in English language practice related to coursework, projects, and other academic activities
You will be able to engage in independent or collaborative research projects under the guidance of faculty members. You will be assigned a faculty mentor who will provide mentorship, feedback, and support in pursuing independent research projects.
