We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Transport Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum vehicle uptime, manage preventive maintenance schedules, supervise technical staff, and maintain compliance with safety and transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily maintenance operations for company vehicles and transport equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Monitor vehicle performance, breakdowns, and repair quality
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and maintenance staff
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and external repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and compliance documentation
- Control maintenance costs and optimize fleet efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and transport regulations
- Conduct inspections and audits of fleet vehicles
- Analyze maintenance reports and recommend operational improvements
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related field
- Minimum [X] years of experience in fleet or transport maintenance management
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, and maintenance systems
- Experience managing workshop operations and maintenance teams
- Familiarity with transport safety and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software

Pay: ₹13,753.19 - ₹30,647.31 per month
