Senior PCB Engineer
Technovation is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior PCB Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in PCB design, assembly, testing, troubleshooting and manufacturing processes.
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing electronic products, leading PCB-related activities from design validation to production, while ensuring quality, reliability and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PCB assembly, inspection, testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Design, review, and optimize PCB layouts for manufacturability and performance.
- Perform advanced SMD and Through-Hole soldering and rework.
- Analyze and resolve complex PCB, wiring and component-level issues.
- Review schematics, BOMs and PCB layouts to ensure design accuracy.
- Work with KiCad and Altium Designer for PCB design, modification and validation.
- Support prototype development, product testing and production ramp-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during product development.
- Maintain technical documentation, manufacturing records and engineering change requests.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SMD soldering.
- Expertise in PCB assembly, testing, debugging and failure analysis.
- Proficiency in KiCad and Altium Designer.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB layouts and component selection.
- Experience in PCB troubleshooting, signal tracing and quality inspection.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, DFM and production workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in PCB design, manufacturing or electronics product development.
- Experience in handling end-to-end PCB development and production activities.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware integration will be an added advantage.
