Job Summary
Catalyst Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students toward the right career and learning opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling skills, a proven track record in student admissions, and the ability to achieve monthly targets in a fast-paced EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents on courses, career paths, and learning opportunities.
- Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
- Handle walk-in enquiries, inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, and online leads.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM regularly.
- Build strong relationships with students to ensure a positive admission experience.
- Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to improve lead conversion.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support team performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
- Represent Catalyst Education during seminars, career guidance sessions, and educational events when required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred).
- 2–5 years of Academic Counselling or Admission Counselling experience in the EdTech or Education industry.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of CRM and lead management.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Candidates familiar with the Manjeri and Malappuram region will be preferred.
