About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to build a career in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Marketing. You will gain hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy, and website performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, etc.).
- Perform website SEO audits and identify improvement opportunities.
- Optimize website content for search engines.
- Monitor keyword rankings and website traffic.
- Build and maintain backlinks through ethical link-building techniques.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO recommendations.
- Stay updated with Google's algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Knowledge of keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, etc.) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HTML and WordPress is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new SEO strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
