Job Summary :
We are looking for a creative and skilled 3D Designer / 3D Visualizer with experience in retail interiors, commercial interiors and furniture design. The candidate will be responsible for creating realistic 3D models, interior visualizations, renders and presentations based on design concepts and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create detailed 3D models and realistic interior visualizations for retail and commercial spaces.
- Develop 3D designs based on AutoCAD drawings, layouts and design concepts.
- Prepare high-quality 3D renders, walkthroughs and presentation views.
- Create 3D models of furniture, counters, displays, wall units, partitions and other interior elements.
- Understand materials, textures, colours, lighting and finishes and apply them accurately in 3D models.
- Coordinate with Interior Designers and the Design team to develop concepts into detailed 3D models.
- Make design changes and revisions as per client requirements.
- Prepare multiple design options and visual concepts for client presentations.
- Ensure 3D designs are practical and aligned with production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Maintain organized 3D files, textures, models and project folders.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
Required Software Skills :
- 3Ds Max
- V-Ray / Corona Renderer
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Photoshop – added advantage
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and realistic rendering.
- Good understanding of retail and commercial interior design.
- Strong knowledge of materials, textures, lighting and finishes.
- Ability to understand 2D drawings and convert them into accurate 3D models.
- Good knowledge of furniture and interior detailing.
- Strong sense of proportion, scale, colours and aesthetics.
- Good attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Costing & Production Understanding :
- Basic understanding of BOQ, BOM and material quantities will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand materials used in furniture and retail interiors.
- Basic knowledge of MDF, plywood, laminate, acrylic, glass, metal and hardware.
- Understanding of manufacturing feasibility and production limitations will be preferred.
Qualification :
Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Design or a related field.
Preferred Experience :
Candidates with experience in retail interiors, showroom design, commercial interiors, furniture design or interior manufacturing will be preferred.
