The Tender Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing and reconciling all retail payment tenders, ensuring accurate recording of customer receipts, resolving payment discrepancies, and supporting the accounts receivable function. The role works closely with store operations, finance, and banking partners to ensure timely reconciliation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Reconcile daily retail sales against all payment tenders, including cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, gift cards, and vouchers.
- Verify settlement reports received from banks and payment gateways.
- Identify and investigate tender mismatches, shortages, and overages.
- Ensure timely closure of pending payment discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable
- Record and reconcile customer receipts in the accounting system.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending collections where applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR reconciliation reports.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and adjustments.
Bank & Payment Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank credits with POS settlements.
- Coordinate with banks and payment service providers to resolve settlement issues.
- Track delayed or failed transactions and ensure timely resolution.
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare daily tender reconciliation reports and management dashboards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Coordination
- Work closely with store operations, finance, and IT teams.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation.
- Communicate with payment partners regarding chargebacks, reversals, and settlement queries.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and retail accounting processes.
- 4 years experience in receivables.
- Experience with POS systems and payment reconciliation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and time management skills.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
