- Stipend: 3,000/month to 5000/month
- Duration: 1 month (can be extended to fulltime based on performance)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative video editor who can produce engaging, high-retention content for a personal brand. You'll be editing videos inspired by creators such as Alex Hormozi, Iman Gadzhi, Ishan Sharma,Ali abdaal and other top-tier content creators known for fast-paced, attention-grabbing edits.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong portfolio while working on real-world content.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–30 minutes) with strong storytelling and pacing.
- Edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) optimized for high retention.
- Create engaging edits using:
- Motion graphics
- Dynamic captions
- Zooms and punch-ins
- Sound effects
- B-roll
- Transitions
- Background music
- Visual callouts
- Animations
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips.
- Maintain consistent branding, colors, typography, and editing style.
- Source royalty-free stock footage, icons, graphics, and music when required.
- Work closely with the content team to improve viewer retention and engagement.
- Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on edits.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of storytelling and viewer psychology.
- Strong sense of pacing and retention editing.
- Proficiency in at least one of:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is a plus.
- Experience with subtitles, animations, and social-media-first editing.
- Ability to recreate editing styles similar to leading personal brand creators.
- Good internet connection and reliable communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience editing business, entrepreneurship, or educational content.
- Understanding of YouTube and Instagram algorithms.
- Portfolio of previous editing work.
- Basic graphic design or thumbnail creation skills.
