Key Responsibilities
handle complete procurement cycle for engineering and industrial materials. source and procure industrial valves, piping components, instrumentation items, actuators, boiler accessories, electricals, and engineering products.
prepare (request for quotations) and conduct techno-commercial evaluations. analyse quotations and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with vendors. coordinate with internal departments including engineering, projects, qa/qc, and stores for procurement planning and execution.
develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying and onboarding alternate suppliers. ensure timely delivery of materials in compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
maintain procurement records, purchase documentation, and vendor databases. monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance for cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. 2 to 4 years of experience in engineering procurement or industrial purchasing.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Boiler & accessories Knowledge of Instruments & electricals
Knowledge of industrial valves, piping systems, and engineering materials. Understanding of technical drawings and datasheets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel.
Good coordination and analytical skills.
