Job Summary
A Front Office Associate is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest service throughout the stay. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guest requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Verify guest details, identification, and payment methods.
- Manage room reservations and room allocations.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status and guest requirements.
- Handle guest complaints and provide suitable solutions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing details.
- Assist guests with resort information, activities, and local attractions.
- Ensure lobby and front office areas are clean and presentable.
- Follow resort policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Upsell resort facilities, room categories, and special packages whenever possible.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of customer service practices.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with PMS software.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management preferred.
- Relevant experience in hotel or resort front office operations is an advantage.
Experience
- Fresher or 1–3 years of experience in hospitality industry preferred.
