Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL).
- Monitor server health, CPU, Memory, Disk utilization, and services.
- Create and manage users, groups, permissions, and SSH access.
- Perform Linux patching and package updates.
- Configure scheduled tasks using Cron.
- Monitor application and system logs.
- Troubleshoot Linux server and application issues.
- Install and manage Apache/Nginx web servers.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL administration.
- Take regular backups and verify backup status.
- Assist in SSL certificate installation and renewal.
- Basic shell scripting (Bash) for automation.
- Work with Git/GitHub for deployment activities.
- Coordinate with application development teams during deployments.
AWS Responsibilities
- Launch and manage EC2 instances.
- Create and attach EBS volumes.
- Configure Security Groups.
- Basic VPC understanding (Subnet, Route Table, Internet Gateway).
- Manage Elastic IPs.
- Basic IAM User and Role management.
- Upload and manage files in Amazon S3.
- Monitor EC2 using CloudWatch.
- Basic understanding of Load Balancer (ALB).
- Familiarity with AWS Systems Manager (SSM) is an advantage.
