Job Summary
Valeur Fabtex Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled and technically strong professional for the position of General Manager – Procurement (Technical). The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with strong expertise in procurement and sourcing of electronic products, drone components, electrical systems, and technical equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for handling strategic sourcing, technical vendor evaluation, cost negotiations, procurement planning, and coordination with internal technical and operations teams to ensure timely and quality procurement of materials and products.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead procurement activities for electronic products, drone components, electrical equipment, and technical materials.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors, OEMs, and technology partners.
- Analyze technical specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and product requirements before procurement.
- Ensure sourcing of quality products at competitive pricing.
- Handle procurement planning, RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and vendor negotiations.
Vendor Management & Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities based on technical standards, quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
- Develop alternate sourcing channels to minimize procurement risks.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, R&D, operations, and project teams for technical procurement requirements.
- Review technical drawings, electrical specifications, and product documentation.
- Ensure compatibility and quality standards for electronic and drone-related products/components.
- Support new product development and prototype sourcing activities.
Cost Optimization & Strategic Planning
- Develop cost-saving strategies and improve procurement efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and emerging technologies in electronics and drone industries.
- Optimize inventory planning and procurement cycle timelines.
- Drive process improvements and automation in procurement operations.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, technical documentation, and MIS reports.
- Support audit and compliance requirements related to procurement processes.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
