Role Overview
The Studio Floor Assistant ensures smooth daily operations by managing materials and supporting the production team. You will coordinate directly with Masters, Karigars (Artisans), and Embroiderers in a fast-paced fashion workshop.
Material & Inventory Management
- Organize fabrics, threads, trims, and embellishments.
- Issue required materials to artisans daily.
- Track inventory levels to prevent production delays.
- Source missing materials from local markets quickly.
Production Support
- Hand over cut pieces from Masters to Karigars.
- Transfer semi-stitched garments to the embroidery team.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free workshop floor.
- Clear leftover scraps from workstations regularly.
Quality Control & Finishing
- Inspect finished pieces for loose threads.
- Check embroidery for missing beads or tears.
- Steam, iron, and tag completed garments.
- Pack orders securely for client delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent spoken communication to manage artisan teams.
- Ability to work under tight production deadlines.
- Prior experience in a fashion boutique or workshop is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
