Position: Infection Control Nurse

Experience: Minimum 6 months of hospital experience (Infection Control or Clinical Nursing)
Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with a valid Nursing Registration Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in implementing and monitoring the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program.
* Conduct regular infection surveillance and maintain accurate infection control records.
* Ensure compliance with hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, and infection control protocols.
* Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and housekeeping practices across departments.
* Educate and train hospital staff on infection prevention measures and standard precautions.
* Participate in infection control audits and prepare audit reports.
* Assist in investigating healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by healthcare workers.
* Coordinate with clinical departments to improve infection control practices.
* Support NABH/NABL and other quality standards related to infection control.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months of hospital nursing experience.
* Basic knowledge of infection prevention and control guidelines.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to conduct staff training and awareness sessions.
* Proficiency in maintaining records and preparing reports.
* Team-oriented with strong observational and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of NABH standards.
* Familiarity with biomedical waste management rules.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Basic computer skills (MS Office and hospital software).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
