Key Responsibilities
- Transportation: Safely transport clients, staff, or cargo to and from destinations on schedule.
- Route Planning: Use navigation systems to determine the most efficient routes and avoid traffic, construction, or weather delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks (e.g., checking oil, tires, and fuel) and schedule routine servicing.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with packing, lifting, securing, and unpacking cargo or passenger luggage.
- Compliance & Records: Strictly adhere to traffic regulations and keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with passengers or clients, addressing inquiries and maintaining a clean vehicle interior.
Essential Requirements
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Commercial Driver's License/CDL may be required depending on the vehicle).
- Navigation: Strong proficiency in using GPS, navigation apps, and reading road maps.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit for long periods, handle heavy lifting, and frequently load/unload goods.
- Soft Skills: Excellent time management, strong situational awareness, and clear communication skills.
