- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Specialize in regional Indian cuisines such as North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, Punjabi, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Bengali, or Tandoor dishes.
- Develop and update menus, recipes, and specialty offerings.
- Ensure consistency in food preparation, seasoning, and portion control.
- Select and manage ingredients, spices, and kitchen inventory.
- Monitor food quality and ensure freshness of all ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on Indian cooking techniques and recipes.
- Coordinate with management to plan special menus, festivals, and catering events.
- Control food costs, reduce waste, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Handle customer feedback and make adjustments to meet preferences when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
